Fall is officially here! Next week temperatures drop to the 80’s. That’s not as cool out as I’d hoped it would be but I’ll take it. Today let’s talk about 3 things that ARE working for me. 1. An alphabetized pantry. Trust me it’s life changing. Do away with premix spices and make your own to make this easier. Make sure that your spices are lined on the front edge so you have space behind them. Use that space behind  to store bulk salts or things like baking soda and cocoa powder. If you want a nice cohesive look buy empty spice bottles and move your spices ...

Welcome to Our Texas Suburbia! I’m Stephanie, a married mother of 3 living in the Dallas, Texas suburbs. This blog was created primarily for myself as a spot I can easily find all of my favorite recipes created by me or curated by me. My hopes are that my kids and other family members will use this as a source to recreate all of our families staple recipes. If it reaches others that is a bonus! I hope you enjoy!
